Buckland Tout Saints Emergency Plan
Emergencies happen. There may be a time when you might be affected by an emergency, but your life is not in immediate danger. During such a time, you will need to know how to help yourself and those around you. The Parish Council has drawn up an Emergency Plan to help deal with a major incident which may occur in the future.
'By becoming more resilient, you and your community can complement the work of local emergency responders and reduce the impact of an emergency on your community both in the short and long term.'

Household Emergency Plan
To ensure you and your family are as prepared as you can be for an emergency, it is very useful to complete Household Emergency Plan. A template here is very useful. The plan should involve all members of your household. Keep a copy accessible.
Hopefully you will never have to use this plan, but having one can help alleviate fears about potential emergencies, and can help you respond safely and quickly if an emergency happens. You should aim to review your plan regularly.
